TNA Bound For Glory

Tonight my family and friends were Bound For Glory. The event was actually quite good for TNA. The crowd was fully into Ultimate X which once again stole the show. Overall, it was pretty fun except for that one douche sitting in our section who wouldn't get off his high horse. It's people like that, that make wrestling fans look dumb and uncivilized. BTW, we sat next to Tara and Awesome Kong's family. :p Oh ya, those pyros are hella loud! One more thing, if any of the talent was drinking in the Koll Room, I'm cashing their deposit!... I'm looking at you Beautiful People. xD.

Wrestlemania Pool Party

I didn't take too many pictures here, because if you know my rule, if there's a pool involved, no pictures. I don't want people taking pictures of me in my trunks and I'm sure they don't want me taking pictures of them half naked either.

But here's a shot of some of us watching Wrestlemania, which was a pretty good show. Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker had a great match that kept me guessing, the MITB match had some nice high spots as did the Hardy's match, but for me, it was all about watching Ricky Steamboat vs Chris Jericho. Steamboat still got it!

P and A enjoy the show.

Granted however, 100% of my attention wasn't on just the show, not will billiards, darts, and barbecue! M did a great job grillin' up some food, and it was dee-lish.

Munch got me on my way out. :(

PS. We had brats, burgers, chicken, chips, sodas, and spare ribs. :D

Getting in the Groove with a side of Mach 1.

Mmm. Breakfast time with J & J. It came a little late during the day, but still, breakfast! I couldn't wait.

The prior night we had been thinking about all the different "silog" dishes on the menu:

TociLog (Two Eggs, Pork Tocino, Tomatoes and Fried Rice)
Chicken TociLog (Two Eggs, Chicken Tocino, Tomatoes and Fried Rice) LongsiLog (Two Eggs, 3 longanisa, Tomatoes and Fried Rice)
Tapsilog (Two Eggs, Beef Tapa, Tomatoes and Fried Rice)
Bangsilog (Two Eggs, 1 Baby Daing na Bangus, Tomatoes and Fried Rice) Jepsilog (Two Eggs, Jeprox, Tomatoes and Fried Rice)

Mmmmm!! Only if they had Spamsilog :/.

I don't really know many decent Filipino restaurants in the area so I was hoping this place would be good. As it turns out, it ended up being a nice little Filipino restaurant that to my surprise was actually very clean. I'll have to stop by again for meryenda (lunch).

Immediately after "breakfast", I headed over to Santa Ana High School to catch some Mach 1 Wrestling action! Bell time was 2pm and the show itself lasted only until 3:40 with a few 10 minute intermissions sprinkled throughout the show.

There were a few matches throughout the night, however the main event was the BATTLE ROYAL to crown the very first M1W Champion.

PS. I had the Longsilog :/. I really wanted the Chicken Tocilog, Tocilog, or Tapsilog but they were out. :(. Next time!

Pro Wrestling and Oiwake

Today was jam packed.

WAITTTT!!!

Before I get to this, let me start off from the beginning.

In the morning I ran all my errands: alterations shop, breakfast, haircut, rubik cubing....

BLAH BLAH BLAH..... who cares right?!, you saw that picture and now you just want me to get to the good stuff. RIGHT RIGHT?! FINE FINE... Let's jump straight to Wrestling.

So at 2:00 I headed out to SA High School, which was almost impossible to find, to watch some Pro Wrestling! Where I heard the most awesome song. (To hear it check out allianceofawesome.blogspot.com) The matches were alright, nowhere in my opinion near PWG quality but it was still cool nonetheless. I think I'll end up going to their next show in February.

Once wrestling finished, I primped myself up and headed out to Downtown LA for M and R's birthday bash at Oiwake. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUYS!

As I arrived, I walked in the bar and instantly, I knew I overdressed. Everyone just had daily casual wear: tshirts, jeans, sweaters, and jackets. I on the other hand: black slacks, dress shoes, buttoned up tucked in polo.... ehh, at least I had my "hater blockers".
